Agricultural Banking and Finance scholarship recipients were recognized by the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Department of Agricultural Economics and the Nebraska Bankers Association at a dinner at the Nebraska East Union. The program was established through the joint efforts of the department and the NBA. It was created to prepare college students for a career in agriculture lending and fill agricultural lending roles in rural communities. The program also includes a paid ten-week bank management training internship. Through the internship, students gain banking and agricultural lending experience at a Nebraska bank.
