In this Spring/Summer edition of AhHorizons, Department Head Dr. Kate Brooks shares a welcome message and updates from the year ahead. We celebrate the 2025 Outstanding Alumni and Service Award winners and highlight the Student Scholarship Recognition Dinner with the Nebraska Bankers Association. - The Center for Agricultural Profitability receiving the 2026 Western Agricultural Economics Association Outstanding Extension Career and Project Award
- Dr. Konstantinos “Dinos” Giannakas earning the Darrell W. Nelson Graduate Student Advising Excellence Award
- Recognition of outstanding alumni Mike Miller and Dr. Alejandro Plastina, along with Nebraska Farmer magazine for their contributions to agriculture
