Felipe earned his PhD from the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Davis, in 2025. His research examines the intersection of agricultural markets, agricultural finance, and global trade, with a focus on how policies and market shocks influence commodity market integration, risk management, and agricultural land use. He analyzes the economic mechanisms behind the changes and provides insights into their broader impact on the agricultural sector, agricultural finance, and international trade.
