Farm and Agribusiness Management Career Development (CDE)

Over 400 agricultural education students and FFA members from 104 Nebraska schools participated in the Farm and Agribusiness Management Career Development (CDE) event on March 29th. This competition included a marketing simulation (pictured), a team scenario, and an individual exam. A team of four students from Pender, Nebraska, earned the top spot and qualified for the national competition in Indianapolis this October. The UNL Agricultural Economics Department hosts the CDE. Dr. Jay Parsons is pictured leading the marketing simulation. Dr. Elliot Dennis and Dr. Brad Lubben serve as superintendents of the state event and are assisted by many faculty, staff, and graduate students. Thank you to all that made this event successful!
